‘Residential School Denialism is a Hate Crime’ Orange tee

We are deeply concerned about the rise of residential school denialism in this country, following the ongoing lack of progress on the TRC calls to action and finally the refusal of courts to sanction speech related to residential school denialism. This combined with ongoing genocidal impacts of colonialism that we see everyday in our outreach with Indigenous survivors.

We stand firm in the face of genocide and residential school denialism which is heightening. A symptom of the ongoing imperial looting and displacement that is the cornerstone of this country.

We created this shirt to let deniers of residential schools know the harm they inflict and the support of the ongoing genocide they are complicit in.
